Concrete Paving Contractors Across Sydney

Fencing and Landscaping Experts lay concrete paving for driveways, paths, courtyards, alfresco slabs and pool surrounds across Greater Sydney. Based in Wentworthville, we service the full Sydney metropolitan area — Western Suburbs, Parramatta, Hills District, Inner West, North Shore, Eastern Suburbs and South Sydney. Our team has been completing residential and commercial concrete work since 2016, with hundreds of driveways and slabs poured across the region.

Exposed aggregate is Sydney’s most popular driveway finish — the decorative stone surface is revealed by washing the cement off the top layer during curing, resulting in a textured, slip-resistant surface that hides tyre marks and surface staining far better than plain concrete. We offer a range of aggregate mixes from standard gravel through to premium white quartz and black basalt blends to match your home’s colour scheme. Exposed aggregate driveways in Sydney are quoted after a free site measure, including mesh reinforcement, formwork and expansion joints.

For paths, back-of-house slabs and pergola bases, broom-finish plain concrete at a competitive rate is the most cost-effective choice. Stencilled and pattern-pressed concrete at a competitive rate replicates the look of natural pavers or cobblestones and is popular for entertaining areas where a decorative finish is wanted without the ongoing maintenance of grouted pavers. All our work includes: minimum 100mm compacted base, 25MPa concrete mix, SL72 mesh reinforcement, and expansion joints at the correct spacing — these are standard inclusions, not priced as extras.

We carry $20M public liability insurance, hold a current NSW Contractor Licence and handle all council crossover permits for driveway work. Every job is quoted at a fixed price after a free on-site measure — no variations on invoice. Call 0492 879 796 to book a quote anywhere across Sydney.

Exposed Aggregate Driveways

Sydney's most popular driveway finish. Decorative stone surface revealed by washing — slip-resistant, long-lasting and hides tyre marks.

Plain Broom-Finish Concrete

Cost-effective, durable and low-maintenance. Standard brushed finish for paths, back-of-house slabs and service areas.

Stencilled & Pattern Concrete

Pressed or stencilled patterns that mimic pavers, cobblestones or slate — at a fraction of the cost of natural stone.

Concrete Paths & Footpaths

Front entry paths, side access paths and council footpath replacements. Neat edges, correct fall for drainage.

Pool Surrounds

Non-slip exposed aggregate or brushed concrete around pools. Chlorine-resistant and bare-foot safe in Sydney's summer heat.

Concrete Courtyards & Slabs

Outdoor entertaining slabs, alfresco areas and pergola bases poured to the correct level and fall to complement your landscaping.

Concrete Paving Sydney — FAQs

Plain broom-finish concrete starts in Sydney. Exposed aggregate is quoted after a free site measure and stencilled or pattern concrete a competitive rate. A standard double driveway (45–50m²) in plain concrete typically is quoted after a free site measure including formwork, reinforcement and one expansion joint. We provide a free fixed-price written quote after a site measure.

Plain broom-finish concrete has a brushed surface texture that provides grip — it is the most economical option and suits paths and back-of-house areas. Exposed aggregate is washed during curing to reveal the decorative stone mix underneath, giving a textured, slip-resistant finish popular for driveways and entertainer areas in Sydney. Exposed aggregate is quoted after a free site measure more but has a longer aesthetic lifespan and hides surface staining better.

Properly laid concrete paving in Sydney lasts 25–40 years. The key factors are: sub-base compaction (minimum 100mm compacted base), correct concrete mix (25MPa minimum for driveways), adequate expansion joints placed at no more than 3m intervals, and steel mesh reinforcement. We include all of these as standard — not as extras.

In most Sydney councils, replacing or widening a driveway within the property boundary is Exempt Development and does not require a DA. However, modifying the kerb crossover (the council verge) requires a council permit before work begins. We handle the crossover permit application as part of our service at no extra charge.

It is generally not recommended to pour over existing cracked or failed concrete as the new slab will follow the same movement. We assess the existing slab on site — if it is structurally sound with no major cracking or subsidence, a bonded overlay may be possible. In most cases for a full driveway replacement, we recommend breaking out the old concrete to ensure a correct base and avoid future cracking.
