Fencing and Landscaping Experts design and build complete outdoor entertaining areas for Sydney homeowners — from a simple alfresco concrete slab and pergola base through to full backyard transformations combining paving, decking, turf, garden beds, retaining walls and Colorbond fencing. As both a licensed landscaping and fencing contractor, we deliver the entire project under one fixed price with a single point of contact, rather than coordinating multiple trades yourself.
Sydney’s climate is perfectly suited to outdoor living, and the right alfresco area adds genuine value to your home. Our most popular project type is a 40–60m² paved alfresco area off the back living room, enclosed on two sides by a new Colorbond boundary fence with a side gate, and finished with Sir Walter turf on the remaining lawn. A pergola structure or shade sail post-base is often included to provide sun protection from Sydney’s north-westerly afternoon sun. We advise on orientation during the site visit — which matters enormously for how much shade and natural ventilation your space receives through summer.
For paving material, exposed aggregate concrete (a competitive rate) is our most common recommendation for durability and low maintenance. Large-format natural sandstone or porcelain pavers (a competitive rate) deliver a more premium finish and are particularly popular in the Hills District, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs. Composite or hardwood decking is the right choice where the outdoor area is elevated or where a warm timber aesthetic suits the home — we install Modwood composite boards for low maintenance or spotted gum and blackbutt hardwoods for a traditional look.
We visit your site, discuss your ideas and budget, and provide a detailed, itemised fixed-price quote. No obligation. No variations on invoice. $20M public liability insurance. NSW Contractor Licence held. Call 0492 879 796 to book a design consultation across Greater Sydney — 6 days a week.
Exposed aggregate or broom-finish concrete slabs directly off the back of the house — the foundation of any great outdoor entertaining area.
Large-format sandstone, bluestone, travertine or concrete pavers for a premium alfresco finish that complements your home's architecture.
Hardwood, composite or Modwood decking boards over a treated pine frame. Great for elevated positions or where a timber feel suits the home.
Timber-framed or powder-coated aluminium pergolas — freestanding or attached to the house — to extend your usable outdoor space through summer.
Integrated lawn and garden planting around your entertaining area for a complete, finished look — including Sir Walter turf, raised garden beds and irrigation.
Colorbond steel or timber privacy fencing to enclose your outdoor entertaining space — including gates and screen panels for privacy from neighbours.

A basic alfresco slab with a simple pergola and garden edging is quoted after a free site measure in Sydney. A full backyard transformation — concrete or paver entertaining area, timber deck, pergola, landscaping, turf and Colorbond fencing — typically is quoted to suit your site depending on materials and size. We provide a free, detailed, fixed-price quote after a site visit so you know the full cost before any work begins.
Most outdoor entertaining areas in NSW can be built as Complying Development (CDC) if they meet the standard floor area, setback and height controls. A ground-level paved area or deck under 20m² is generally Exempt Development. Pergolas attached to the house are usually Complying Development. We advise on the correct approval pathway for your specific council during the site visit.
The most popular combination we build in Sydney is an exposed aggregate or natural stone paved alfresco area adjacent to the back of the house, a timber-framed or aluminium pergola for shade, a built-in BBQ nook, and a turf or garden lawn beyond. For contemporary homes, large-format porcelain or sandstone pavers with a Colorbond fencing boundary are the preferred finishes.
Both are excellent for Sydney's climate. Concrete (especially exposed aggregate) is lower maintenance and has no grout joints to weed. Large-format pavers or natural stone look more premium and allow individual pavers to be replaced if cracked. Pavers are quoted after a free site measure versus a competitive rate for exposed aggregate concrete. We can show you samples of both and advise which suits your home's style and budget.
